Privacy Policy
Effective 2 November 2026 · applies to the Ludo Bloom app and website (ludobloom.pages.dev)
Ludo Bloom is an online Ludo game you play with friends. This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and only collect what the game needs to work.
What we collect
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Your player profile: name, picture (a character or a photo you choose), country, “About me” text | So other players can see who they are playing with. |
| Game data: games played, wins, XP, coins, shop items, match history | To run games, levels, leaderboards and the shop. |
| Messages: game chat and private messages between friends; friend list; blocks and reports | So you can chat and make friends, and so we can keep players safe. |
| Google account email (only if you choose “Save with Google”) | So you can sign back in to the same player on a new phone. |
| Approximate area (only if you turn on “People nearby”): a ~2 km grid square and a scrambled code for your Wi-Fi network. Never your exact location. | To show players near you. Turning it off deletes it. |
| Notification address (only if you allow notifications) | To tell you when it’s your turn, or a friend invites or messages you. |
| Error reports: the error text, the app version, the page and your device/browser type | To find and fix crashes. |
Voice chat
Voice chat only starts when you tap the microphone. Your voice goes straight to the other players in your game (or through a relay server when a direct connection isn’t possible). We never record or store voice.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your information or share it with advertisers. There are no ads.
- We don’t read your contacts, photos or files. A photo is only used if you pick one for your picture.
- Coins can’t be bought or cashed out for money.
Who can see what
- Everyone can see your name, picture, country, “About me”, level and wins.
- Game chat is seen by the players in that game. Private messages are seen only by you and your friend.
- If a player is reported, our moderators can read that player’s messages to decide what to do.
Services we use
- Supabase: stores the game data (servers in Mumbai, India).
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and relays voice when needed.
- Google: only if you sign in with Google.
- Your phone’s notification service (Google or Apple) delivers notifications.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you have an account. Error reports are deleted after 90 days. When you delete your account, your profile, coins, items, friends, messages and history are deleted straight away; in other players’ match history your name is replaced by “Deleted player”.
Delete your account
In the app: Home → ✏️ Edit profile → Delete account. Or use our account deletion page.
Children
Ludo Bloom is meant for players aged 13 and over. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can see and change your profile in the app at any time, turn off “People nearby” and notifications, and delete your account. For anything else, such as a copy of your data, contact us.
Contact us
Use Contact us in the app (Home → ✏️ Edit profile → Contact us). We read every message.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is important.
